Amy Gadiaga

Amy (pronounced AH-MI) Gadiaga is a bassist, singer, and composer from the Paris suburbs, now based in London. She graduated from the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, where she studied double bass, earning several distinctions, including an award from the Royal Philharmonic Society. This year, she was also nominated for Jazz Newcomer of the Year at the Parliamentary Jazz Awards.

Bridging the old-school jazz tradition of musicians such as Betty Carter or Wayne Shorter with her own unique style, Amy delivers performances that celebrate art and freedom.
