La Notte, the reunion…

…I’m talking about a time that those under twenty cannot possibly know! And that’s certainly true of La Notte in Liège — this legendary venue first opened its doors in 1984 and for 20 years was one of the piano bars where many musicians began their careers before becoming true professionals.

It was common to cross paths there with Claude Nougaro, Renaud, Dany Brillant, Bernard Lavilliers, Pierre Rapsat and many other artists who, after their concert at the Forum, would stop by to celebrate in the company of Dino Palumbo, the owner of the establishment.

“La Notte” makes its grand comeback on Thursday, May 7th at Uhoda Jazz in Liège, and will once again make you vibrate to the sound of a host of musicians and singers who made Liège by Night so special — in the format that made its reputation… A jam session!
