Asaf Avidan

Asaf Avidan’s story began in 2006 with Asaf Avidan & The Mojos. His first band became a folk phenomenon in his home country. In 2011, however, the band decided to call it a day… Everything changed a year later when Berlin-based DJ Wankelmut remixed one of their songs. A worldwide hit, “One Day / Reckoning Song” catapulted Asaf into the spotlight. He continued his solo journey and, with “Different Pulses” (2013), captivated audiences around the world with his raw musical approach, poignant lyrics and soulful voice, at once human and otherworldly.

More than a decade later, Asaf continues to create musical gems of extraordinary beauty. His latest album, “Unfurl”, is a shining example. With this record and his earlier hits in tow, he is setting off on another worldwide tour. Following a captivating performance at the Cirque Royal in Brussels, he will bring his charismatic storytelling and multi-instrumental talent to the enchanting setting of De Bijloke. A show not to be missed!
