This year's Uhoda Jazz in Liège is your chance to vote for the Belgian artist or group you enjoyed most on stage at the 2024 event.

The winner of the vote will receive a JM Peterkenne Award, the 'Jean-Marie Peterken' People's Choice Award (worth €2,500).

Jean-Marie Peterken, who passed away in 2015, worked all his life.

Whether it was introducing jazz on television, being behind the creation of several festivals (Comblain from 1959 to 1966, Jazz à Liège in 1991), contributing to the creation of the Maison du Jazz de Liège and the Wallonie-Bruxelles federation, musicians and jazz fans in the Cité ardente
and elsewhere owe him a debt of gratitude.

The winner of a second JMP Award will be announced during the festival.

It is awarded by a jury to the best album by a Belgian musician or band released after January 2023.

These JMP Awards will be officially presented at an evening dedicated to the blue note in November 2024.
